Author Accelerator Book Coach Certification
Nylda Dieppa is working on a year-long program with Author Accelerator to be certified as a book coach specializing in memoir. This most rigorous program will also polish her skills as a fiction and nonfiction coach.
As part of the certification requirements, Nylda has to do three practicums. For Practicum 1 she is already guiding a writer to plan, organize, and start writing a memoir about his rehabilitation and community service after serving a long prison sentence for murder. For Practicum 2 she will work pro bono with a writer with a complete memoir manuscript ready to be evaluated and preparing to write a proposal for it. For Practicum 3 she will also work pro bono with someone getting ready to pitch their memoir to agents. For more info on working with Nylda for Practicum 2 or 3, contact her at info@nyldadieppa.com.

Speak From the Heart
One of the most moving events during Pride Month 2024 was held at the Winter Park Public Library on June 22, 2024: "Speak From the Heart." The Orlando Gay Choir touched everyone's hearts with their beautiful a capella music and I was gratified to be able to share my poem "To The Young Transgender Poet, a Heart-to-Heart with Lee Mokobe" with an appreciative audience.

I introduced a plein aire (outdoors) watercolor painting demonstration with Russian artist Natalia Andreeva titled “Blossoms in the Breeze” with my poem “Plein Aire Poppies.” The enlightening and moving experience inspired me to write this blog.
